UCSB Procurement came to an agreement on 8/26/2025 with Learning from Within’s leadership to eliminate the need for signed contracts with negotiated online terms.

If that date and time is available, you will then receive an email from Learning From Within with a booking link that includes the UCSB terms we negotiated. You will need to agree to these before completing payment.

Please be sure the terms include the following language, and then you can use your FlexCard to complete your reservation:

As a representative of The Regents of the University of California, on behalf of the Santa Barbara campus (“UC”), I have read and understand the guides/policy written above. I acknowledge that by checking the box below, I am agreeing as follows:

  1. UC agrees to the Set Up & Amenities provisions for the Space set forth herein as well as the Closing Procedures for the Space set forth herein.
  2. UC shall be responsible for the payment of any fees specified herein with respect to the rental or use of the Space which are agreed to in writing by an authorized representative of UC herein, as well as any additional fees that are agreed to hereafter in writing by an authorized representative of UC.
  3. UC shall be responsible for any damage sustained to the Space during the time in which UC is occupying the Space, but only in proportion to and to the extent that such damages are caused by or result from the negligent or intentional acts or omissions of UC, its officers, employees, or agents.
  4. This agreement between the parties (“Agreement”) shall constitute the whole and complete agreement between the parties relative to the rental or use of the Space. This Agreement can only be modified by a written agreement between the parties that is executed after the effective date hereof which specifically states that it is amending or modifying this Agreement.
  5. The term of this Agreement shall expire upon completion of the event.
