Filming and Photoshoot Permits

Permits are required for any filming or photoshoots conducted on University of California (UC) property and are subject to official approval. The university reserves the right to deny any request. Please note that UC Santa Barbara (UCSB) does not approve commercial filming or student filming that is not specifically required for a UC course, as these activities are considered outside the mission of the university.

Note for News and Media: News and educational filming, such as faculty interviews, are handled by the Office of Public Affairs. Please contact Kiki Reyes at kikireyes@ucsb.edu for media inquiries.
