FlexCard Program Administration offers a series of training classes. Currently, classes are offered for Department Administrators, Cardholders, and Approvers/Allocators.
Training classes for Department Administrators are being held remotely via Zoom by appointment only. Please email FlexCard at flexcard@bfs.ucsb.edu to schedule a training class.
Training
New FlexCard Cardholders must complete a UC Learning Center eLearning course before receiving a FlexCard. This course is available on demand and can be revisited at any time.
FlexCard Exams
The FlexCard Exam is required to be completed for all Cardholders on an annual basis to maintain active Cardholder status. The exam is eight multiple-choice questions and a score of 7/8 is required to pass. There are no penalties for not passing the exam.
