RESEARCH TERMS AND CONDITIONS (RTC)

The latest revised Research Terms and Conditions (RTCs) were announced on March 14, 2017.  The RTCs address and implement the Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200).

As of September 29, 2017 the following agencies have implemented the RTCs on grants and cooperative agreements:

  • NIH
  • NSF
  • DOE
  • USDA/NIFA
  • NASA
  • Dept. of Commerce (including NOAA)

The following agencies have an anticipated implementation date of October 2017 for use of the RTCs:

  • Dept. of Transportation (including FAA)
  • Dept. of Homeland Security

The following agency has an anticipated implementation date of December 2017 for use of the RTCs:

  • EPA
